Flu Season is Here!

We have flu vaccine at no charge at the PCFC for our patients! Call 874-8982 for an appointment!

It’s that time of year–flu season is upon us. The CDC reports that seasonal influenza activity is elevated across the country. To date (week ending November 12, 2022), 49,726 people across the country have tested positively for confirmed influenza virus since the beginning of October. If you have not yet received a flu shot, this is a good time to do so! We have plenty of flu vaccine at the PCFC–call for an appointment. If you are not one of our patients, call 874-8982 to see if you qualify for services and can receive a dose of flu vaccine from us. We are located at 39 Forest Avenue in Portland.

Remember, the best way to guard against and prevent the spread of flu:

• Receive an annual flu vaccination.
• Receive a COVID-19 vaccination or booster.
• Wash your hands frequently.
• Cover your mouth and nose when coughing.
• Cough into your elbow.
• If you don’t feel well, stay home!
