Bob Barrett, RN, our good friend and Public Health Nurse at the Portland Community Free Clinic, is retiring! Bob has worked at the PCFC for more than 10 years–he started in October 2011. His last full day is February 1, 2022, although he will be working a few per diem shifts before heading off on a 6 week camping adventure with his wife and dog.
To honor Bob, the Friends of the Portland Community Free Clinic are collecting donations in his honor. To date, 31 generous people have donated almost $4500. Thank you to everyone who has donated! If you would like to join this very special group, please click here to donate. You can indicate on the form that your donation is in honor of Bob for his retirement. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
We have also created a Kudoboard to recognize Bob and share memories. Click here to view the board and read some great stories and comments. If you would like to add a card to the board, please do so! We managed to keep this secret for several weeks, but the board was delivered to Bob this morning.
Bob is a great friend and has been a wonderful asset to the PCFC. He will be missed but he leaves behind an amazing legacy of caring and compassion. Thank you, Bob, for all you have done for us for the past 10 years.
