The Portland Community Free Clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am until 8 pm. The receptionist leaves at 4:30 pm so if you call after that time, your call may be directed to voice mail. We are also open on Friday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon. Calls will be answered during that time and for potential new patients, you can complete an intake on the phone.

We are located at 39 Forest Avenue in Portland. Look for a big brick building with “39” on the front–that’s our building. Come in the door that is right on Forest Avenue. There is a small parking lot next to the building for patients. If you want to use public transportation, the No. 2, 4, 9A, and Breez busses all run close to our location at Forest Avenue and Congress Street. Please note that the Portland Community Free Clinic is not a walk-in clinic. Patients are seen by appointment only. Our providers are volunteers and are only available during scheduled clinic hours. Our public health nurses are available during the day. Please feel free to call with questions during the hours noted above.
